So about 24 hours ago I became the most eligible bachelor in the city. Time to buy a BAC Mono and go single seater for a while?

Apparently these are legal to drive on the street in America.

So I must add it into my dream garage.

Women always be like "You're going to cheat on me and leave me for another woman." while guys be like "I'm leaving you for a stocked garage."

Hahaha, honestly, I think part of the reason it ended aside from distance and "I love you but this isn't working" is my passion for cars.

Talk about a car that guarantees you wont get laid. It's a 285 horsepower dude magnet. Which if you're into that, awesome. otherwise, may want to grab a different ride.

Hahahaha, I don't drive to get laid ;) I live within 10 minutes of the clubbing district so I'm set but I didn't think about all the dudes surrounding the car when I'd park :/

But a girl found with an interesting car might be more understanding to your passion to cars than a girl picked up from a bar. I don't understand the mind of girls really well but I think that my idea should work.

And get at least two seater...

Haha, in some ways yes. I normally don't get out to drive much and borrow cars from my friends stables when I do. I live close to downtown (12 minutes door to door to work) and parking is either 20$ for a few hours or it takes an hour to find a spot. I ended up carless for the time being.

Hmmmm Jaguar F type?

I think that it would work well.

I actually ended up at a Ford dealership last night looking at the new Mustang GT, ended up driving the ST's too. I think I want something a bit more up market.

The new Mustang is coming to the European markets but it hasn't been sold here since 90's. We have some grey market ones from 00's but not very many. Sporty Fiesta and Focus models are semi common. I have seen handful of F-types. V8 model sounds are pretty nice.

my mom's husband tells a story of when he was dating before he met my mom. The woman was suspicious the entire date that he might be cheating. However they stopped off at his place for a nightcap and when they pulled in his driveway she saw the Corvette & Goldwing motorcycle in the garage, GMC jimmy parked in the driveway and the pop-up camper trailer with kayak rack on the lawn she apparently declared something like "I guess you aren't married, no wife would let you buy all this stuff." Unsurprisingly, there wasn't a second date.

Exactly. I love my wife and she is the love of my life and I don't think I would ever so much as date another woman no matter what might ever happen were I to become available. I would buy a huge frickin garage with a loft for me to live in and start a giant collection.

Yea, that's true about Mustangs in Europe. I lived in Germany for a while and the number of Audis I could count was just unfathomable. The V8's are nice, just seems like a waste for going for the V6 but pricing here pushes me towards a V6. I was thinking about a Bmw 6 series.

Thanks for both! I sort of expected one of us would end it for a while now but my heart is broken. I'm sort of in an odd spot.

Warning feeling are being shared* I know how you feel. I was in a bad relationship for 8 years. We had lots of good times, and loved each othr, but we both knew it would end. It was always so hard to break it off when you don't harbor any ill feelings. When we split there was this weird feelings of happiness and dread of the future.

I know the exact feeling. It's heartbreaking yet so liberating. My first relationship completely broke me but this time I haven't cried except when she called to do it. I get pangs of sadness but I think it will hit me next week. It's been a long distance relationship for over a year and well, she's in town next week ... now I guess to visit her folks instead of me.
